So for 2 months Elijah has asked for a mohawk!
We figured ...'whatever'.......he can have one, honestly there are so many more important battles to fight --- we let him have it.
So when he looked in the mirror for the first time he frowned and asked for it to be cut like normal??? This is his embarrassed look:)
YEEEESSSS!! Victory on our parts! Eddie finished cutting his hair and I am pretty sure he won't want another mohawk cut!

I'm Jaime's friend from high school, but I happened to link to your blog and read this post. This totally cracked me up!!! My little brother did this same thing when he was about 8. He begged and begged my parents for a mohawk. My dad is a pastor and they were probably in their 50's at the time, not the greatest combination for getting parental approval of a mohawk, you'd think. But like you, after 6 kids, I think they realized they had bigger fish to fry, so what the heck. They cut it. And then he looked in the mirror and cried and cried. Poor kid had no idea what a real mohawk was! It was hilarious!
